Profanity in blogs
You know it just occurred to me that most blogs don’t publish a profanity policy. Sure some blogs are easy to figure out. I mean, if the blog owner throws motherfuckers and cocksuckers around then it is likely ok to do in comments. And its easy enough to figure the big professional “respectable” blogs don’t want you tossing fucks, shits and damns around (the most famous exception to this being AoSHQ).
But there’s a lot of blogs that sort of ride in the middle. You just aren’t sure of their policy. The obvious first step is to look over some posts to see if the blog owner drops and f-bomb or whatnot.
But barring mentioned methods, do you ask ? If you ask, do you ask via email or just throw it in a comment (like I did just a few minutes ago on another site)? Or maybe just drop a damn or shit and wait for a reaction ?
Anyhow, to make things perfectly clear. On this website, any form of profanity goes. I don’t much give a shit about offending readers. Especially since I only have about a dozen of them and they all came here looking at the Hooker of the Week or the Booze of the Week.
Anyway, I just want y’all to know, this is a FREE FIRE ZONE.
First SMD Soldering
Well, here it is. I finally got the nerve (and the board) to try hand soldering a damned tiny microcontroller to an adapter board. It really wasn’t that hard, however at this point I don’t actually know if it works.

Bars and restaurants are being warned that offers such as “buy two glasses of wine and get the rest of the bottle free” should not be displayed. They have also been warned that they should not offer free drinks to customers, perhaps because they have waited too long for a meal, it is understood.
Ok … so we’ve (or they’ve) gotten to the point that advertising booze is bad. That’s fucking retarded but it gets even worse. Now they’ve decided that simply asking you if you want a fucking drink is advertising ? Every time you think nanny-stating can’t get worse … it does.
