   For a while now, Ace has been trying to get better revenue out of his site. Well, lately he’s been asking his commenters to “tone it down” so as to not be quite as offensive towards possible advertisers. The last thing was that he told gengis, the guest blogger who generally handles the over-night-thread, to not post some picture of boobs.

   Anyhow, I don’t have any problem with Ace, it is his site and he can run it any way he wants. But there is the reputation to think of. AoSHQ has built a solid reputation on the internet by not only Ace, but by his commenters. Toning it down will only harm that reputation.

   Eh, just one Drunk’s opinion tho.

   Ah, I understand now. And I have to agree with your assessment. The commenters make the site,IMO.

   Absolutely. Once a website gets off the ground, the comments make up much more content than the actual posts.
