We must reject the idea that every time a law’s broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions.

    But being responsible for our own actions would be like, scary n’ stuff. You mean you expect me to live on my own, not with my parents till I’m 55 and inherit the house, pay my own bills and make my own choices? That’s a spooky big world out there. I opt to have the gummint do it all for me. More time to watch tv that way.

    Gad, how far we have fallen as a nation when the majority of the people either don’t understand or don’t want to understand what goes on in the world around them.
