I think due to massive tax increases in cigarettes and cigars, the pipe is poised to make a comeback.

Until they tax the fuck out of that too.

Congrats on your new vice. I’ve always loved the smell of cigars, but never “made the move”. One of these days I’ll do some research, go buy a few good ones, and lock myself in my subteranean lair for a while.

*heh* The pictured pipe looks almost identical to one that was in my pipe collection… which I gave to my dad (along with my stash of Macanudos) when I dropped tobacco about 25 years ago. I still sometimes miss the tactile and aromatic pleasures of smoking pipes and cigars. Sometimes.
