Astonishing Aerial Photographs from WWII
peiper over at Barking Moonbat EWS found some absolutely kickass aerial photos from WWII.
I grabbed this one because I’m a big fan of the movie A Bridge Too Far. As well as a fan of the huge iron balls it took to attempt Operation Market Garden.

Dotted around the fields of Holland, these gliders clustered together formed just a small part of Operation Market Garden in September 1944 -- the largest airborne operation ever carried out

Went over to Barking Moonbat, and saw the rest. Amazing the perils pilots took for photographs.
The comments at the Daily Mail site were interesting too. It really is incredible how some rabid leftists will tear down and politicize photos from WW2.
And I just stopped over from “Barking Moonbat” to say thanks for the traffic!
We usually just refer to the place as BMEWS. As in “bemuse”, because those lefty antics often leave us shaking our heads.
