As the ClimateGate Turns….
This comes as no surprise. Phil Jones, the esteemed (and by “esteemed”, I mean a steaming pile of pig offal) director of the East Anglia Climate Research Unit, is stepping down:
Britain’s University of East Anglia says the director of its prestigious Climatic Research Unit is stepping down pending an investigation into allegations that he overstated the case for man-made climate change.
The university says Phil Jones will relinquish his position until the completion of an independent review into allegations that he worked to alter the way in which global temperature data was presented.
He is stepping down temporarily only. Hard to give up power when one has cultivated it for so long, isn’t it?
Perhaps the whole concept of showing one’s work was simply too much for him….
UPDATE: Looks like Penn State will be conducting an investigation into ClimateGate. Insert smirk here.

Hmm….methinks his job performance makes him a prime candidate for Obama’s administration.
Carol Browner better watch her back, or else Obama is liable to throw her under the bus in favor of Phil Jones!!
Jones may not qualify for the obama admin, if he actually paid his taxes he doesn’t qualify.
Well, Inland Revenue doesn’t give anyone much of a choice when it comes to taxes, Jackpine, so he still has a shot at being a czar over here
Yeah, he’s just gone till the furor dies down.
He’s blowin’ CO2 up everyone’s asses. This smegmatetic assnugget isn’t giving up his meal ticket that easily. They’ll do a *coughbullshitcough* “investigation”, declare “All is well! Nothing to see here, folks. Move along, now.” and he’ll step right back into his gilded, tenured chairmanship.
He needs to walk to stairs to the gallows for his fraudulent bullshit that has cost tens of billions, if not hundreds, of dollars and, should their Socialist agenda come to fruition, the enslavement of the entire planet’s population under the yoke of those fucking unelected anal cankers at the UN.
Yeah. He’s stepping down. Like Putin “stepped down.”
