A Day at the Gun Range with Rick Perry

10-12 other bloggers, to include Andrew Breitbart, Matt Lewis, Roger Simon, Kathleen McKinley (Right Wing Sparkle) and Dr. Melissa Clouthier at Red’s Indoor Range (South) in Austin this afternoon for one of the most unusual and completely awesome campaign events that I have ever heard of — shooting guns with the governor of Texas.
This thing had security nightmare written all over it — especially the day after a crazed man opened fire on the steps of the Texas Capital (Rick Perry’s office, effectively). As near as I can tell, there was only one Security man in the range with about 12-15 armed citizens and Gov. Perry. And his Security agent looked nervous as hell…but Gov. Perry insisted upon doing this event.

If he was in the habit of doing stuff like this 9 months AFTER an election I might could hold my nose and vote for him.
Rick Perry is probably 80-85% which is far better than most politicians and miles past anyone from DC. Washington ruins people. W couldn’t get my vote for Texas governor.
I’d sooner vote for Bill White (Fmr Houston Mayor) than KBH.

Damn, dude….that’s way harsh.
You’d be surprised. Bill White is a good man. A democrat, but a good man. He certainly did no harm to Houston and he’s good at being that ‘leader’-type.
So, yeah, given a choice between KBH and Bill White, I’d rather Bill White.
