Brown Wins; Obama Blames Bush!!!!

Posted by LC Aggie Sith on Wednesday, January 20, 2010 in Politics

It was with joy and glee, and a girlie drink,  that I watched the returns come in from the Massachusett(e)s Senate race. For fun, I flipped the channel over from Fox News, to (P)MSNBC. My joy was unbridled as I watched Olbermoron grind his teeth in anger, Madcow gnash about how the democrats need to move further to the left to win, and Chrissy Matthews’ tear-stained face. Not to be stifled, Olbermoron went on a slanderous tirade against Senator-elect Brown, proving once again that, if liberals can’t win, they will throw a tantrum and call names.

Today I find the spinning to be just as enjoyable. First there is this from Politico:

MaDamn Pelosi states that they will move forward, and Senate Majority leader Reid claims they will wait before moving ahead with ObamaCare. But perhaps the best spin comes from TEH WON himself:

“Here’s my assessment of not just the vote in Massachusetts, but the mood around the country: the same thing that swept Scott Brown into office swept me into office,” the president said in an exclusive interview with ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos. “People are angry and they are frustrated. Not just because of what’s happened in the last year or two years, but what’s (sic) happened over the last eight years.”

So, it’s Bush’s fault Massachusett(e)s voted a Republican for the Senate seat, see??

UPDATE: Head on over to The Rottweiler for some Teh Funneh!!!

Juan Williams said on Hannity (whom I hate, but he”s on during the ride home from work) he fully expects Reid and Rosa Klebb to charge into the guns at Balaclava because they have invested so much political capital, they can’t retreat. The only support they have–the moonbat left–would crumble and they’d get slaughtered in November.

Couldn’t happen to a nicer bunch.

  4. cbullitt, looks like Williams is right:

The Democrats’ top leadership in Congress wouldn’t say where the bill would head next. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said lawmakers would heed the message voters sent in the Massachusetts election, “but we will move forward.” Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said: “We’re not going to rush into anything.” A senior White House official said Ms. Pelosi was in the midst of counting votes to see if she could move the more comprehensive package through the House.

  5. Yep, the dems and their lovers are having a sweaty little, red in the face, circle jerk, pausing every now and then between strokes, to shout “It’s all Bush’s fault!!!”

Speaking of Chrissy Matthews, if you think he’s teary now, just wait till the smoke clears in November.

  6. I think come November that the left will be positively suicidal. Which brings us to Tiberius’ post, doesn’t it???

    :D

  7. Got a new poll up at my place. Stop by and vote if ya gets a chance.

Prediction time. Barry gets on everyone’s ass for “not getting things done” and by mid summer at least 2 white house staff up and quit. After that, as Nov approaches the libs in congress distance themselves from el presidente. He stands fast as the extremist he is and we have stagnation from here until 2012.
