Sorry I missed it. I’m back. All is well, except for lightnin’ the now, ex-pet.
While it is normally a bonus to live two block from the local Food Monger, their power qwas ouit as long as mine @40 hours. Ergo, we’re having garlic pasta for dinner because it doesn’t require any,meat,milk,eggs or veggies–all of which had to be pitched. I was able to get pet munchies for the surviving cat and dog–who is back to trying to steal munchies from the kids at any opportunity.
Glad to hear y’all are ok, with the exception of Lightnin’. For that, you have my condolences.
Now I have to go sell Girl Scout cookies outside for 2 hours….
Still waiting for my annual batch of GS cookies to show up. Nothing beats a six pack of Dr. Pepper, a box of shortbread cookies, and a good novel to make for a perfect afternoon!
And thank you for choosing my little bit of humor as the “winning caption”. Would have said this above, but thinking about the cookies got me all happy inside. (You are never too old for Girl Scout cookies!)
