In my many years I have come to a conclusion that one useless man is a shame, two is a law firm and three or more is a congress. — John Adams

Breaking Up Is Hard To Do

Posted by LC Aggie Sith on Thursday, February 4, 2010 in ClimateGate

Hot on the heels on the possible identification of the Climategate leak, comes this delightful smackdown of heretical proportions:

India Forms New Climate Change Body

Yes, I know…still towing the AGW line. But wait for it….

India has established its own body to monitor the effects of global warming because it “cannot rely” on the United Nations’ Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, the group headed by its own Nobel Prize-winning scientist Dr R K Pachauri.

BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!

In Autumn, its environment minister Mr Jairam Ramesh said while glacial melting in the Himalayas was a real concern, there was evidence that some were actually advancing in the face of global warming. Dr Pachauri had dismissed challenges like these as based on “voodoo science”, but last night Mr Ramesh effectively marginalised the IPC chairman even further.

He announced the Indian government will established a separate National Institute of Himalayan Glaciology to monitor the effects of climate change on the world’s ‘third ice cap’, and an ‘Indian IPCC’ to use ‘climate science’ to assess the impact of global warming throughout the country.

Savor the delicious meltdown. I bet Pachauri is making plans for a sequel to his bosom-ripper, seeing as his gig at the UN is going through an unfortunate patch.

Maybe he can call his next book Hot Planet, Cold Heart and have it be about a poor depressed climate “scientist” shunned and ridiculed by his peers for his creative writing but who learns to love again when he encounters a morbidly obese ex-politician who is eating himself to death after people stopped ignoring his desperate cries for attention!

It’s not quite schadenfreude… yet. But by golly it’s close.

I mean, can you just taste the tang in the air? It’s like the smell before a thunderstorm.

Oh, yes… I did a “Bwuh-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha” laugh after reading that AGW post and my daughter says “Dad, don’t laugh like that because it scares me.” I must say without bragging that it was a very very good evil laugh-at-the-pain-of-others laugh.

I guess little kids can recognize an evil tint to laughter. I told her why I was laughing and that the good outweighed the evil in this case.

Speaking of Pachauri’s book–go check out the “art” the Englishman at the Daily Bayonet used in his piece (heh). myra would approve. I stole it of course.

  4. Oh my…..I *heart* that, cbullitt. Looks a bit Edwardian, too.

I’m no supporter of global warming, climate change, etc; first and foremost I’m a cynic.

India has bigger motives for jumping off the bandwagon than intergity. They are getting some of the harshest criticisms in the ganGreen movenment. Who gets the worst economic hits according to the UN plans? US, China, and India.

Go India, lead the charge away from the freaking globalists! Watch as the US slides like a tectonic plate to the left, past the UK, past France.

Oh yeah, and evil laughs rock!
