Who remembers this:
I managed to find almost the whole album … enjoy (after the jump)
Couldn’t find Be A Man
Couldn’t find Did It For The Money
Couldn’t find Yesterday’s Gone
It is surprising the effect that music has on memory.

As if my grays were not enough, you have to drive the point home…. sigh….
Thanks for the trip down Memory Lane. And shut up about being in high school then
You need to speak up, sonny. My hearing ain’t what it used to be. Ruint it all listening to Depeche Mode, Bowie, and U2.
Oh, that’s right, I was in high school in 1989.
1989?? Sheesh you want to talk old, lets go back to some vintage Bowie!

(That would be 1969 for all you youngsters out there! *grin*)
I swear…I will get even with you, ArmedGeek….
Now, just to prove I am a gen-you-wine “Olde Pharte” I’d have you know I thought you were posting something about Nikola Tesla, for real. No, I didn’t have any idea he’d ever recorded an “album” but a guy can always hope, eh?
“I was in high school in 1989″
Oh, my. I was well out of and away from high school by then… Or perhaps I should say either “High school was well rid of me… ” or “I had escaped the surly bonds of pubschool prison… ” or some such, “…by then.”
Still, it’s nice to know what you young pups think of as “oldtimers’ music”. *heh* Why, I can recall when Purcell first stole a tune from Jeremy Clarke as if it were yesterday…
(*heh* And Noah still owes me a shekel or three.)
Sheesh, I still can croon with the best of them (that would be Torme, Sinatra, Davis Jr, and Martin), if you want to go back prior to rock and roll. And I thought a young Julie London was smoken! So, yeah I consider myself to be an ol phart too *grin*.
Shit, I graduated in 1986.
And speaking of vintage rock, how about Grand Funk?
CCR?
The Guess Who?
And my favorite group from back then: Lynyrd Skynyrd!!!
Guy, sing on.
