Spiked Tea

Today is one of those days. You know, when you are a bit underwhelmed by the news, and find it exciting to wash down your cabinetry because you got a new cleaner you are just dying to try. So yeah, that was my morning, washing my cabinets. Between that, having my mom here for a visit, hubby home for a week of leave, and a sick kid spewing germs all over the place, I wasn’t very excited to post anything. Oh, and I have a new dog. That has made life really interesting, and by “interesting” I mean “freakin’ circus.” For a person who has never owned dogs, I am adapting quite fine.

Anyway, like I said before I was not going to post anything today. But then I sat down to read the news, and found this:

Calling the movement part of a “noble” American tradition, Obama whined that Tea Partiers have simply misidentified the real culprits in Washington.

It’s those untax-and-spend Republicans, he insisted.

Not wise and frugal Democratic statesmen such as Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and himself.

BWAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

And guess what? He is proposing to freeze discretionary spending. Why? Because he needs to cut down the debt that he “inherited.” I guess dissent is back to being patriotic, huh?

Update: Larry Summers resigning at the end of the year. Looks like another one got thrown under the bus. I wonder if this is the first step in cutting down the debt, and if there’s enough room under that bus for Turbo Tax Timothy Geithner
