Booze of the Week
There’s honestly not much I can say about this one. I picked this one up on sale and I suppose you get what you pay for. Glen Moray is another in the ever-growing category of “not bad, but nothing special“. I’d probably rate it below the Glenmorangie. It lacks any real flavor or character which sort of shows in its very light color. My recommendation is that if its the only thing available, drink it. Otherwise, take a pass.

Note to self: stock it for Draco.
If you can find it in the states, try Whyte & McKay. From what I remember, it is a great scotch whiskey
Dear All
For those few of us who are blessed with an outlet of the Wonderful emporium called Vom Fass, (from the cask), mount thy steed and hie to it. Mine stocks only a dozen whiskies but the menu changes with availability. You may sample any or all with assistance of the shop keeper with proper knowledge to dispense the product, even to the extent of instructing upon the cut of whiskey of cask strength. The one on offer is a Springbank at full proof but without statement of age. Even uncut, it won’t lash your tongue much. A full teaspoon cut to the dram does it for me.
Slantevaal!
Sooo, how is one to comment on ‘Headlines’ items (top of page, but you knew that)?
Lizard’s Summer Reading List item has me choked!
Burgandy finished Glenmorangie for the WIN!!!
DiV, feel free to vent here, just let peeps know it’s off topic. I was rather appalled to see that the teachers, librarians and administrators read those books and approved them. I seriously doubt they did, though.
Being able to comment on the headlines would be nice but really anywhere is fine. Hooker posts are a good place for random commentary as well.
Moray … Morass…
wait….
this isn’t a discussion of eels versus democrats…?
is it?

You won’t be dissapointed.
