Girlie Drink of the Week
I’m a bit strung out from organizing yesterday, so I needed something quick and light to help me doze off into Dreamland. Now, in college we were not allowed to keep BOOZE* in our dorms, but you damn well know kids will hide BOOZE* anyway they can. I never did, but I remember how one friend hid her Amaretto Sour in the juice container. And that got me to the GDOTW!!
AMARETTO SOUR
- 1 ½ ounces Amaretto
- 1 to 2 ounces Sweet and Sour Mix
Pour ingredients in a shaker filled with ice, shake well, and strain into a ice-filled glass. Garnish with cherries and/or orange slices. Personally, the orange makes it a bit too acidic for my taste, so I just place cherries in mine. Believe me, you never feel it until it hits you

I cannot remember what we called them but it was the same shot and you have a few too many before you realize it.
Because i have a rep to maintain, I don’t call them “girlie” drinks. We call them sneaky drinks!
