Burned Out

I am so sorry I didn’t have an Open Thread for Friday. Thursday I had to get my van ready for my niece to borrow, and had to help my sister out with an appointment, and then had a friend from out of town come over to visit, which necessitated going out to dinner. Friday I had to do a favor for a friend, entailing a trip to the other side of town, and dealing with rain. And the idiots driving in it. In all, I spent six hours on the road yesterday, and never left the area. By the time I got home, I was tired enough to fall asleep on the floor, completely ignoring the fact that the couch was right there next to me. I woke up in time to get to my friend’s wine party, and after no wine (since I was driving), I came home and sat down at the laptop looking at the admin post feature and completely blanking out. I guess I was just a bit burned out.

This weekend promises to be more hectic, with my sister’s inlaws coming from out of town, but hopefully that will just provide fodder for this place
