Andrew Breitbart, RIP

Posted by LC Aggie Sith on Thursday, March 1, 2012 in blogosphere, Everyday Hero, In Memoriam

He was, in a word, AWESOME!!

He knew fear, and yet it only emboldened him. He had lived most of his life on the other side of the coin, and therefore could walk into the furnace and come out of the fire like Shadrach. He was humorous, and could poke fun not only at others, but at himself as well.

But best of all, he wasn’t afraid to fight for what is right and just, giving no quarter, for he felt our rights are written in black and white.

You’ll be missed. You were loved by many, and admired by even more. You were a great teacher and a formidable warrior.

And I for one will make sure your voice lives on.

A true patriot and warrior for freedom. He was a personal hero of mine and changed the way I look at politics in our country.

    RIP brother….

I think there’s something in my eye.

Damn, such a loss… May G-d hold him in love and peace. Difficult to find words for something this terrible…

I’ll be praying for his wife and four kids. Tragic beyond description.

  3. Prayers to his family and friends. He was such an inspiration to me. This is very hard to take.

Damned shame that is. Heard this on the radio on the way home from work. Kinda thought the talkshow host was fucking with everyone.

Oh, and I’m glad no one had him on the Deadpool. I’d have felt shitty writing that post.

What a lousy way to start the day. A real shock. He has been (I just don’t want to say “was”) a man who personified the joy of life and made us happy that he rode with us.

Let’s gird ourselves for the inevitable black-hearted commentary during the next few days. We know better and we want his family to take some measure of comfort in that.

  8. With this sad news all over our side of the blogosphere, I will stick with counter-programming. Nothing I say can add to the elegies.
    But I’ll do it anyway:
It sucks the grand wazoo. He was a unique talent and enjoyed sticking it to the Commicrats by airing the corruption no one else would–and he did it with a smirk that pissed them off even more.

This is so sad for us in losing the mind and guts of someone who spoke for conservatives. But I truly feel for his children and widow who now must find life without him.

The disgusting trolls at my friend Jenn’s are leaving their foul droppings by the ton.

Something like this shows how truly evil, classless and worthless they are.

Whoever cast the downvotes on this thread needs to be curbstomped. I’ll be happy to oblige.

  13. No worries, Botnet.

The person is too much of a coward to do anything else but click the “thumbs down” option, for one thing.

And Andrew Breitbart would have been thrilled about it, for another ;)
