When Tolerance and Stupidity Meet
Sometimes it takes getting mugged to realize things are not as they seem. From CBS:
CBS News Chief Foreign Correspondent Separated From Her Crew And Brutally Assaulted on Day Mubarak Stepped Down
Correspondent Laura Logan was in Tahrir Square, covering the Egyptian crowd celebrating the stepping down of Hosni Mubarak, when she was separated from her crew. Once she was away from her group, she was severely assaulted sexually and beaten. She was rescued by several Egyptian women, along with about 20 Egyptian Army troops.
Once she was saved from that mob, she got back to her crew and hotel, and left Egypt the following morning.I sincerely hope she recovers and isn’t scarred by this. What bothers me is the how and the why. She went in, uncovered, and without security, only her crew. And the why? Simple: she is a woman, uncovered, showing herself in a vast anonymous throng that believes women for the most part are simply property. I’m all for equality of opportunity, but I know that doesn’t apply in most of the Middle East. Why CBS and Ms. Logan thought it did, I have no idea.

The bomb went off in the lot between the Islamic Society [of Portland] and Back Bay Grill around 8:00 PM Tuesday night. Portland Police say Islamic elders came forward to tell them that a 13 year old from the Society was experimenting and was responsible for the bomb. Another bomb was also found undetinated [sic].
Police say it’s unclear if charges will be filed against the teenagers.
Oh, and don’t think the “elders” called the police on the kid. They came forward after the police started the investigation and had gathered enough evidence to figure out what had transpired. And they were making excuses for the teenager’s actions…. like it was a common, everyday occurence to have a 13 year old making a bomb outside their “society”. Maybe that flies in the Middle East, but not around here.
What would have happened if it had been a non-muslim teen that had tried to detonate a bomb at the “society”?? You can bet your sweet ass that would have made national news as a hate crime. But because it was a muslim teenager, charges might NOT be filed?? One thing is clear: Maine has a big problem, just as Michigan does. If they do not step up and enforce their laws, they will be totally lost.

Sorry for the lack of posts, y’all. I found this earlier, through a friend at Facebook, and ended up walking away from the laptop, choosing to do something constructive before I hurled the poor thing through the window:
A U.S. Army soldier wants to leave the military service as a conscientious objector based on his beliefs as a Muslim, but he says he’s concerned he may be deployed to Afghanistan anyway.
Pfc. Naser [sic] Abdo, 20, an infantryman assigned to the 101st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell, Ky., said Monday that if the military orders him to deploy, he will refuse to go despite the fact that it may result in a military charge against him.
First off, in my opinion, there is no longer room for the status of conscientious objector. And before anyone decides to bring up Sgt. York, he was drafted. Our military is strictly volunteer-based. So, if someone objects to violence citing his religion, he or she doesn’t have to enlist. If they feel the need to serve their country, there are other means besides the military. So, where the fuck does this fucktard get off with this shit? Where the fuck has he been the last eight years? He whines that he can’t reconcile his faith with his job. And why? Because we are at war with Afghanistan, and this pedophile-worshipping snot would be forced to make a decision on whom to shoot. Only not really, seeing as he is REAR DETACHMENT, and DOES NOT GET DEPLOYED WITH THE UNIT. So now the Army is once again, bending over backwards to make sure no one’s feelings get hurt.
And it is mighty convenient that this islamoretard started a blog only two days before he gave an interview to Al Jazeera, and is soliciting donations for his possible-but-highly-improbable court costs. The question is, should he be discharged into the general population, with no way of keeping track of the slimy toad, of should the Army keep him and watch the fuckmonkey closely, making sure to monitor his every move?
Because Bending Over Is What Ear Leader Does Best…
Yesterday, in a show of brash honesty, Iranian Prez Aquavelvajad Imadinnerjacket Ahmadinejad came out and brutally exposed the U.N. for the worthless, ineffective body that it is:
“[T]hese (U.N.) resolutions have no value…it is like a used handkerchief that should be thrown in the waste bin.” “Sanctions are falling on us from the left and the right. For us they are the same as pesky flies…We have patience and we will endure throughout all of this.”
And how is the Obama Administration reacting to this? Pretty much as expected:
The Obama administration, which labored for months to impose tough new United Nations sanctions against Iran, now is pushing in the opposite direction against Congress as it crafts U.S. sanctions that the White House fears may go too far.
So, instead of trying to enforce U.N. resolutions (not that it matters, since they aren’t worth the paper they are printed on), the administration is trying to ease restrictions that Congress is wanting to push. And why, you may ask?
But the administration fears that the legislation also could damage relations with Europe, Russia and China, all of whom cooperated with U.S. efforts on the U.N. sanctions.
To avoid that possibility, the administration wants authority to waive U.S. punishment against companies from countries that have cooperated on Iran.
Never underestimate the ability of this administration to cave under pressure.
Open Islamofascist Season Declared in Texas
As Prez Obama prepared for his first presser in ten months, news came down about a terror alert issued for the state of Texas:
The Department of Homeland Security is alerting Texas authorities to be on the lookout for a suspected member of the Somalia-based Al Shabaab terrorist group who might be attempting to travel to the U.S. through Mexico, a security expert who has seen the memo tells FOXNews.com.
The warning follows an indictment unsealed this month in Texas federal court that accuses a Somali man in Texas of running a “large-scale smuggling enterprise” responsible for bringing hundreds of Somalis from Brazil through South America and eventually across the Mexican border. Many of the illegal immigrants, who court records say were given fake IDs, are alleged to have ties to other now-defunct Somalian terror organizations that have merged with active organizations like Al Shabaab, al-Barakat and Al-Ittihad Al-Islami.
This terror alert comes on the heels of the State Department issuing a statement that the paltry amount of U.S. National Guard troops being sent to the Mexican border will not be used to enforce immigration laws, but instead “to stem the flow of guns and drugs” across the border. If you are wondering why, it’s because Mexico told Prez Obama how to run the operation.

As far as I’m concerned, if the federal government won’t enforce its own laws, that leaves me free to enforce the Castle Doctrine in my home. And by “my home”, I mean Texas.
