Because Being Offended is the Easiest Way to Shut Down the First Amendment

Posted by LC Aggie Sith on Monday, April 8, 2013 in Idiotarians, Political Correctness, Total Bullshit

I am ashamed to report that not even my alma mater, Texas A&M University, is safe from the evuls of diversity.

Last week, several students at Texas A&M took to their Senate to object to having a portion of their student fees pay for the Gay and Lesbian Students Association. Personally, I don’t care if my school has such a student group. I believe in freedom of association, after all. However, some students did not wish to have their fees go to fund a group that goes against their religious beliefs.

See where I am going with this?

Anyway, the Senate voted 70-65 to approve ‘The Religious Funding Exemption Bill’, which states:

“While it can be argued that many services are a worthy use of funds in order to provide an opportunity for academic success at Texas A&M, it is reasonable for students to object to a use of their own money that they feel violates their religious conscience. The broad varieties of religious views expressed by students are equally important, and the variety of services they disagree with should be treated with equal importance.”

How about that? Actually observing and enforcing the First Amendment, which this being a state school, they have to actually, you know, OBSERVE AND ENFORCE. Had TAMU been a private university, it would have been different. But never underestimate the power of idiots ignorance academia diversity. While the Senate can approve or disapprove a bill, the Student President has final veto, and guess what he did?

Texas A&M Student Body President John Claybrook [on Friday] ‘confidently’ vetoed a very controversial measure approved yesterday by the student senate which allows Aggies to withhold the portion of  their student activity fee which would go to the Gay Lesbian Bisexual and Transgender Student Center.

Because the needs of the many never outweigh the needs of the weepy few.

“This has caused great harm to our reputation and to the students who feel disenfranchised by the bill,” he wrote in a message.

Never mind the hundreds he just disenfranchised in the name of his goddess, Diversity. Gay trumps every time.

“This damage must stop today. Texas A&M students represent our core value of respect exceptionally, and I am proud of the family at this university.  Now, more than ever, is the time to show great resolve and come together, treating each other like the family that we are.

Just how is squelching someone’s religious freedoms showing respect? I don’t know about y’all, but in my family, no one agrees with anything, not even when it comes to Coke™ versus Pepsi™. This dickwrinkle believes that in order to show respect, you must trump one group above others. When I attended A&M, some of us decided to form a “dead group”, for archaeology. Guess what? We got NO FUNDING from the student fees. We had to raise our own funds to do anything. Why can’t they, as well?

This student president may claim to espouse Texas A&M as a family, but he has no idea what being an Aggie means. He barely cuts it as a 2%er. I hope all of the disenfranchised religious groups appeal, and bring to light the roaches pushing politically correct diversity down their throats.

Knee Jerks

Posted by LC Aggie Sith on Monday, December 17, 2012 in AssHatery, Government, Political Correctness

They never let a crisis go to waste.

Several Democratic lawmakers called for a new push for U.S. gun restrictions on Sunday, including a ban on military-style assault weapons, in the wake of the Connecticut massacre in which 20 children and six adults were gunned down in a school.

Because ONLY “assault weapons” were used at the Sandy Hook terror attack. Yes, I do think it was a terror attack.

Democratic Senator Dianne Feinstein, the author of an assault-weapons ban that lapsed in 2004, said she would introduce new legislation this week. Senator Dick Durbin, the chamber’s No. 2 Democrat, said lawmakers would hold hearings on gun control, and several others said they would devote new attention to the long-ignored issue.

“I think we could be at a tipping point … where we might get something done,” Senator Charles Schumer, another top Senate Democrat, said on CBS’s “Face the Nation.”

Because the guns killed those adults and children. I find it ironic that the person calling for a new ban holds a permit to conceal carry.

Republican Representative Louie Gohmert said (when asked why citizens would need to own semi-automatic weapons), “Well, for the reason George Washington said: a free people should be an armed people. It ensures against the tyranny of the government, if they know that the biggest army is the American people.”

Gohmert added, “Once you start drawing the line, where do you stop? … Gun laws don’t work.”

Just ask Chicago or Washington, D.C.

They want to take away our right to bear arms? Fine, then take it away from every single person, starting with the Secret Service, LEOs, and other federal agents. Every politician has to give up their entitled security. But what about the bad guys, you ask?? Well, guarantee me they will give up their weapons, too, and you have got a deal!

The only type of gun control that works is the type where you hit your target center mass.

Pink Eyed

Posted by LC Aggie Sith on Sunday, October 21, 2012 in Political Correctness, Rants

Before I get into my rant, I just want y’all to understand I do not think it is an unworthy cause.

But I really, really hate the whole pink ribbon thing.

I have a few friends who have breast cancer, all in remission, praise God. And yes, even I have had a bad scare over it. And I will be the first one to scream at women to get checked and keep vigilant. But this whole “Pink Ribbon” thing is going a bit overboard.

Look, most people aren’t FOR breast cancer. And I say “most people” because y’all know as well as I do that there are some assholes in this world that don’t think women are anything but property, and not even valuable property at that. But for the most part everyone LOVES boobs. Anyway, I support the foundations that raise money for research and to bring treatment and early detection to women. But putting a pink ribbon on everything doesn’t mean a thing. Most people are not aware that when they buy a pink ribbon pencil or a pink ribbon apron that the money is not necessarily earmarked for a breast cancer research foundation like the Susan G. Komen Foundation. In fact, most of it isn’t. Only certain things specifically endorsed as having its proceeds go to a foundation are earmarked. One lady at the Bed and Bath store that goes Beyond was in line to purchase five pink ribbon items. She told the cashier that she buys this stuff so that the money goes to research. I interrupted her and asked if she had made sure that the items say they will donate. She checked, and sure enough NONE of them said that money would go to breast cancer research. She was very disappointed to find that out, but like me, she will be making her charitable donation direct from now on.

Frankly, the thing that gets me most upset is seeing the pink crap on football players. Pink gloves, pink cleats, pink towels, pink everything. My sister thinks it’s cool because she says they “support breast cancer awareness”. I asked her if by wearing the items did the foundations get money from the players? She didn’t know, and I have no idea either. I’m sure some of the players do contribute to cancer charities, but I see no reason or logic to completely flood the game with hot pink stuff. It’s almost like the light pink they used last year was just not catchy enough. Now, the hot pink just clashes with everything. It screams, “LOOK AT THE PINK AND DONATE, OR YOU SUCK!!!” Wearing a pink ribbon doesn’t make one a savior.

Personally, I’m glad that ESPN™ has decided to start pushing the “Blue Ribbon” campaign in support of prostrate cancer research. I’m tired of the way men get passed over simply because of their gender. Men are special, just as women are, and they deserve the same respect and attention.

I’m just glad the ribbon isn’t brown ;)

I Do Not Think It Means What You Think It Means

Posted by LC Aggie Sith on Friday, October 12, 2012 in Open Thread, Political Correctness, Politics

Today came the news that the jokers in Oslo gave the Nobel Piss Prize to the European Union.

The same European Union that is experiencing riots in Greece, marches against the EU in Spain, crises in Italy, Portugal and Ireland, where Belgium STILL has no working government, immigration is setting records, where France has no-go zones in Muslim districts (for fear of fires and riots), and could not figure out how to stop the slaughters in the Balkan Wars without (illegal) intervention from the US.

But in its defense, they have done far more for the advancement of “Peace” than Prez Obama.

It has been years since this award meant anything of value. It has become a joke, the laughing stock of the Prizes. Lucky for the others, they are awarded in Sweden, not Norway. I long for the day that someone worthy will win it. But I don’t think I will see it in this lifetime. Ever since Yasser Arafat won it, I have had my doubts.

And don’t get me started on the IPCC and The Goron.

So, who do y’all think would have been a worthy candidate to win the Nobel Peace Prize? My vote goes to the nukes ;)

Passing the Rubicon

Posted by LC Aggie Sith on Sunday, September 16, 2012 in Government, Islamofascist nutjobs, Political Correctness, terrorism

Imagine if you will, that you decide to make a poster for a school project. And the subject of the poster is a map of gang violence crosslisted with demographic data. And your facts are readily available to you through the library and the census bureau. And you point out that the most violent gang activity is in the predominantly black neighborhoods.

Then imagine that the black gang members who attend your school see that poster, and decide to burn down the hallways, break windows, and cause bodily harm to those who get in their way.

And when the smoke clears, imagine the school decides to expel YOU, because you made the gang members angry enough to riot. You insulted them by pointing out the obvious. It’s ok for the gang members to know that, but NOT ok for the rest of the people to know that. That’s an open secret they want to keep.

Well, imagine no more.

Here’s the first line from the LA Times (not linking it, just follow the links if need to, but that whole story is slimy).

“Just after midnight Saturday morning, authorities descended on the Cerritos home of the man believed to be the filmmaker behind the anti-Muslim movie that has sparked protests and rioting in the Muslim world.”

Just after midnight?? REALLY??? And just why were there soooo many cameras at the ready?? Of course, he was “voluntarily” escorted away, for questioning, of course.

“Voluntarily”.

Do you see what happened?? This man, who has every right to make and put out a movie on freakin’ YOUTUBE, is blamed by this inept administration for the wilful rioting in the Middle East, which culminated in the killing and desecration of FOUR AMERICANS. And what does the administration do? Go after the killers? Noooooooooope.

This administration willingly submitted to the will of Allah.

You think I’m wrong? Well, look at it this way: Muslims decide to use this movie as an excuse to riot, destroy, and kill, because their so-called prophet was insulted. And what do Obama and Co. do? They give the Muslims what they want: punish the blasphemer, and apologize for his actions. So now, the rioting fucktards know that all they have to do is burn and pillage and kill, and we will do anything they ask. That is submission, the very definition of Islam.

Muslims (and I don’t add “extremists” for a reason you will read later) will always have an excuse to riot. ALWAYS. Because those who do not submit to Islam will always be infidels, and need to be eradicated from their version of a perfect world.

And in case you think I am lumping all Muslims together, ask yourselves this: just how many of the “moderate” Muslims who actually believe in “peace” are speaking against the violence? Their silence is deafening. Until they begin to speak out against the violence of their jihadist brethren, I will have issues.

Malignant Spiderwebs

Posted by LC Aggie Sith on Friday, May 25, 2012 in Idiotarians, Political Correctness, Rants, Scandal, Total Bullshit

Sometimes one can easily brush a spiderweb off one’s eyes. Other times it’s not so easy, especially when the spiderweb is poisonous.

Take the case of The Other McCain. Or that of Patterico. Or most tragic, that of Aaron Worthing. You can get summations of the cases here, and here, and here, and here.

And from Lee Stranahan:

I want to know how it is that the law supports the hounding of people who tell the truth, reporting an actual fact that is available for anyone to read. I want to know why it is that posting a court decision available through public records is cause for damages.

Most of all, I want to know how it is that a convicted terrorist bomber gets grants from the Tides Foundation, the  Barbra Streisand Foundation, and the Heinz Family Foundation totalling $100,000.

I suppose that in the eyes of those foundations, a man who bombs innocent civilians can be considered a freedom fighter.

Alpha Versus Beta

Posted by LC Aggie Sith on Monday, May 14, 2012 in Idiotarians, Left Wing Media, Political Correctness

I don’t care for “pretty men”. I find them to be unpalatable, and not just from a physical perspective. It’s the mentality that comes with the so-called metrosexuality of today’s quintessential man. Frankly, I despise a man who tells me he is “in touch with his feelings”. I don’t mind that he is, ok? I mind that he feels the need to tell me!! Seriously?? Keep it to yourself. Women are complex enough without metros trying to become more like them.

When was the last time we had a true hero, and what did he do to deserve that title? I can think of this guy. Jumping into a vat of acid to save another? That’s heroism. Putting a controversial photo on the cover of a magazine? Not so much. Yet we are supposed to think that our “first gay president” is a courageous move, that his declaration of “personal support” for same sex marriage is an act of bravery. All he did was dodge a bullet and get paid for it. If he really wants to dodge bullets and get a paltry salary for it, he should enlist and get deployed. Maybe then he could be considered brave.

I May Never Eat Pudding Again

Posted by LC Aggie Sith on Monday, April 9, 2012 in Celebutards, Political Correctness

Ok, that’s not true. Y’all know I will. But this makes my stomach revolt against the chocolaty goodness.

“We’ve got to get the gun out of the hands of people who are supposed to be on neighborhood watch,” said Mr. [Bill] Cosby, whose remarks were the first he has made publicly about the case.

“Without a gun, I don’t see Mr. Zimmerman approaching Trayvon by himself,” Mr. Cosby explained. “The power-of-the-gun mentality had him unafraid to confront someone. Even police call for backup in similar situations.

“When you carry a gun, you mean to harm somebody, kill somebody,” he said.

Sorry, Mr. Cosby, but you are wrong. You have to remove the guns from the criminals first. I hope he has not forgotten who it was that killed his only son. I sure haven’t. And I find it rather odd that Mr. Cosby is blaming the gun and the neighboorhood watch, when he himself has said that the thug culture is to be reviled and that the black culture must begin to own up to their failings.

I understand not everyone likes guns. But to blame the guy who legally carries for the rise in crime is just plain stupid.

Sex and the Single Cucumber

Forgive the title. But it’s a rather appropriate title when you think about the subject.

Back when I was in college, I remember some of the gals in the dorm attending NOW meetings. I admit to having gone to a few, but I never felt very comfortable mostly because it seemed to be a hatefest directed towards men. And even when I was liberal, I didn’t understand why anyone would direct such vitriol to 50% of the population based solely on the fact that they had the luck to be born with a different chromosome. Still, I never gave them a thought, nor gave them weight. They had every right to feel and say what they did.

And then the Clinton scandals happened. Woman after woman came forward claiming sexual harassment and even rape against our President. And the same women who were hating men for the priviledge of having a Y chromosome stayed quiet. That was when I realized that Cultural Feminism, the type that had been pushed by the likes of Gloria Steinem and Betty Friedan, was just a lie. It had nothing to do with being equal to men. It had nothing to do with emancipating women from the stereotypes through which they felt men viewed them. No, it had to do with power of one group over another. In this case it was not just power over men, but power to dictate rights over others. Because the President was a Democrat, and therefore liberal, he was given a pass on his transgressions. The fact that it was a man who trampled over the rights of the women held no weight whatsoever. He was one of them.

So we learned that all these so-called feminists were only useful idiots to be put on display as sacred cows. And in their search for superior rights over men, they sacrificed what little credibility they had left, becoming full-time hypocrites. There are many examples of this, but none so recent as the Rush Limbaugh controversy concerning a 23 year old law student 30 year old feminist activist. In his defense, Rush didn’t call the whoring bimbo a slut. He referred to her actions as being those of one. And they are. Still, the language was harsh, and he apologized, even though the ruckus has reached massive proportions. All because of a word the feminists had used for themselves less than a year ago.

Slut Walk Hits Dallas Streets

Yep!! Remember this?? I sure as hell do!

The group of fire-up North Texans called the event a “Slut Walk.”

Elizabeth Webb organized the local event.

“I know, definitely, it is a controversial name,” Webb said, “but we`re trying to reclaim that word and take the power away from that word.

Take power away from the word? Excuse me, but even Geoffrey Chaucer used that word in his literary classics. Let me give you feminists a lesson in Psychology 101: if you want to “take power” away from a word, DON’T FREAKING HAVE A COW WHEN SOMEONE USES IT!!! It makes you look like bovinical dumbasses and cements your hypocrite creds.

Ladies, and I use the term loosely, you have been weighed, measured, and found lacking in substance and value, for you have cheapened yourselves in your pursuit of power. And with this latest display, your relevance (such as it is) starts coming to an end.

Where I come from, fish can ride bicycles. And I feel fine!!
