Harold Ramis dead at 69 of complications from autoimmune inflammatory vasculitis
Harold Ramis, the man behind numerous blockbuster films such as Ghostbusters and Groundhog’s Day,…
He was 85.
A true comedy genius, he passed away at the age of 91.
The former child star and diplomat has passed away at age of 85.
Things are pretty sad around here still, but in moments of sadness, we find joy in little things. This past Wednesday, bikers from around North America came down to counter the “Million American March Against Fear”, known better by it’s former name, “Million Muslim March”. Look, I firmly believe that everyone has a right to petition the government, etc., etc. Personally, I was supporting their right to gather and assemble. Sure, Muslims gathering to rouse people to their plight on the day some of their religious brethren attacked our country and took us to war would show them to be in bad taste and crying like spoiled children, but that is why I wanted them to do it. Sunlight is a great disinfectant.
Anyway, both the bikers and the pieceful religion peeps decided to launch Facebook groups to garner support. Here are screenshots of the groups timeline banners. Please read closely the amount of “likes” each page has.
That’s the bikers’ group. The current count is 282,934 “likes”.
And this is the muslim group. The current count is 335 “likes”. JUST 335.
This is why I do think there is hope against this tide. Their support comes from trumped up political correctness, and we must start taking back our rights to vocabulary words and teach politicians that no one has a right not to be offended.
And we can start teaching the lesson by voting them out
No matter how hard some people try to make this a day of service, or a sale at a store, this is no ordinary day.
On September 11th, we always remember.
And eleven years after that, another attack which left four Americans murdered in Benghazi, Libya.
“All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.” -- Edmund Burke
Forgetting lets evil win. Never, ever forget, and make sure to never let those who would choose to dismiss it forget, either.
North Carolina clangs its brass.
The state Senate on Friday passed a bill that would keep courts from recognizing Sharia law.
While proponents of the legislation said it would keep people safe from foreign laws, critics derided the bill as sending a message of intolerance and bigotry to followers of Islam.
Go ahead, laugh for a while. I did. It took me several minutes to stop. I mean, when the most intolerant religion-slash-political-ideology on this planet calls something “intolerant and bigoted”, you know you’re winning. The provision was actually attached to another measure that would impose stricter regulations on abortion providers in NC. But the libs were so busy trying to argue the abortion regulations that they didn’t even notice the itty bitty bill emphasizing Constitutional law as being supreme. It was rather glorious.
Now called House Bill 522, the provision’s contents haven’t changed. It reminds judges that the U.S. and N.C. constitutions are the law of the land and no foreign law can supersede them. Sometimes international laws are used in court as evidence before a judge, or in written opinions. But this bill would stop judges from considering foreign law when it violates a citizen’s constitutional rights.
I have a big problem with Shari’a law. A very big problem. That particular *ahem* rule of law tramples over my rights as a human being, not to mention as a woman, a mother and a Christian. And I find it hilarious that liberals are quick to defend its use over our rule of law, when its a religious rule of law. And by “hilarious”, I mean “sickening”. What about that whole “separation of church and state” stuff liberals are always shoving down our throats?
The danger doesn’t come from the legislation’s exact wording, said Omid Safi, a professor of religious studies at UNC-Chapel Hill. He contends this wave of anti-foreign-law legislation comes from a fundamental misunderstanding of Sharia law and a “bigoted” perception of Muslims.
“We would be delighted to have a conversation about what Sharia law actually is and what it is not,” he said. “It would be important, if we’re passing legislation on the topic, for (lawmakers who support the bill) to actually benefit from the expertise of people who might actually know something about the subject.”
Here’s the thing, Omar baby:
WE DON’T GIVE A SHIT WHAT SHARI’A IS OR ISN’T. WE ALSO DON’T GIVE A SHIT WHAT AN “EXPERT” ON IT HAS TO CONTRIBUTE. WHY? BECAUSE THE SUPREME LAW OF *THIS* COUNTRY IS THE U.S. CONSTITUTION. END OF FUCKING DISCUSSION.
And if you and your ilk don’t like it, go back to a country that does, fuck you very much.
I think the military needs to get this contract.
A company in northern Idaho has come up with a culturally sensitive approach. Jihawg Ammo has developed a proprietary system for infusing ballistic paint with pork. The special pork-infused paint is then applied to the bullets of loaded ammunition. The inclusion of pork in the paint makes the bullets haraam, or unclean. Under Islamic law, anyone who comes in contact with any haraam item is then unclean and must engage in a cleansing ritual. No unclean person can be admitted into Paradise. Do not pass Go. Do not collect 72 virgins. (From WND)
I ask you: how many of the islamojihadist jackwagons would take the risk, knowing they would NOT get into “Paradise”??

Why is Bin Laden’s son-in-law, Sulaiman Abu Ghaith being charged in a US criminal court, but Anwar Al-Awlaki, an American citizen, not given the same due process, instead being blown up by a drone strike?
Is it Opposite Day? Did I not get the freakin’ memo??
I picked a hell of a time to quit drinking.

And the administration thinks this is about a YouTube movie that has been in cyberspace for months?? Yeah, riiiiiiiight….
One of my favorite posts at Bring the Heat, Bring the Stupid are the videos of what Brad likes to call “‘Splodey”. Watching something blow up is therapeutic to me. Makes me feel all calm, and that all is right with the world, even if only for the few seconds of beautiful incendiary footage.
Seriously, doesn’t this make you feel good??
If I smoked, I would soooo need a cigarette right about now
They say a picture is worth a thousand words, right?
Feel free to discuss in the comments.

Did you know we still fund these guys?
Pro-government crowds attacked the U.S. and French embassies in Damascus Monday, in the latest escalation of Syrian government anger over foreign moral support for the country’s pro-democracy protesters. At the same time, the government crackdown continued in the central city of Homs.
According to reports from Damascus, the crowd at the U.S. embassy breached the perimeter wall and damaged at least one building in the compound before being dispersed by U.S. Marine guards.
Even when I was in Kosovo, they (pick your party/affiliation) avoided messing with Americans. UN troops were fair game, though. An embassy is considered sovereign territory, as it is representative of the country that ‘owns’ that piece of land. In former years, this would be considered an act of war.
Now, it is considered a minor inconvenience. Sad…..
