Last night I was perusing Pinterest (there’s a surprise) looking for a casserole recipe when it dawned on me that I had not posted a girlie drink in a while.
Call it Divine Intervention or plain luck, but right next to one of the recipes was a photo of a cocktail and when I clicked on the link, the recipe was revealed. It was simple. It was doable. It was Kismet.
- 2 parts Scotch whiskey (I use single malt but blended is fine)
- 1 part Drambuie™
- lemon for garnish
Pour both ingredients into an old-fashioned glass over ice, and stir to combine. Add a lemon wedge for a zing. If it’s too sweet, add more scotch. Conversely, if it’s not sweet enough, add more Drambuie. You can’t lose here 🙂
