My word, it’s hot outside. But we did get a thunderstorm yesterday which made things oh, so much muggier. Perfect for anything with ice cubes in it. And with that, we welcome the Drink of the Week:
Vodka Sour
- 1½ oz. vodka
- ¾ oz. simple syrup
- ¾ oz fresh lemon juice
- cherry, for garnish
Pour all liquid ingredients into a shaker filled with ice and shake well. Strain into a coupe or rocks glass. Garnish with a cherry.
Seriously, this should come in pitcher quantity 😉
Hmmm, that’s an old-fashioned kinda drink. Or, should I say, a classic? Whatever. Lately I’ve been thinking I oughta try some classics, like this or a mint julip.
I had this one last night and it was oh, soooo goood. Easy to make, too 🙂
Let’s do the math on pitcher:
1.5=15
.75=7.5
.75=7.5
=30oz.
Yeah, that should do it.
